Laser Resurfacing & Rejuvenation

Reveal smoother, brighter and healthier-looking skin with advanced laser resurfacing treatments at Mode Aesthetics.

Using the award-winning Tetra PRO by DEKA fractional CO₂ laser platform, our practitioners can customise treatments to suit a wide range of skin concerns and recovery preferences. From gentle skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime through to more intensive skin resurfacing, every treatment is tailored to your skin goals and clinical assessment. The platform combines multiple pulse technologies to precisely balance skin resurfacing and collagen stimulation, allowing treatments to be personalised for different skin types and concerns.

What is Laser Resurfacing?

Laser resurfacing is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that uses precisely controlled laser energy to refresh the skin's surface while stimulating natural collagen production beneath the skin. Depending on your individual treatment plan, laser resurfacing may help improve:

  • Fine lines

  • Skin texture

  • Sun damaged skin

  • Pigmentation

  • Acne scarring

  • Surgical scars

  • Enlarged pores

  • Stretch marks

  • Overall skin quality

At Mode Aesthetics, treatments are customised using DEKA's Pulse Shape Design technology, allowing your practitioner to tailor the balance between skin resurfacing and thermal stimulation for your individual skin concerns.

Is Laser Resurfacing Right for Me?

Every person's skin is different.

During your consultation, we'll assess your skin, discuss your concerns and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan. This may include a lighter rejuvenation treatment such as CoolPeel or a more intensive resurfacing approach using DOT Therapy.

A personalised consultation ensures your treatment plan aligns with your skin condition, desired outcomes and expected recovery time.

Results, timing and downtime

Recovery and response to laser resurfacing vary depending on the treatment performed, your skin type and individual healing response. Treatments such as CoolPeel are designed for minimal downtime, while more intensive laser resurfacing treatments may involve a longer recovery period.

Skin typically continues to heal and remodel over the weeks following treatment. Your practitioner will discuss the expected recovery, likely treatment timeline and what you can realistically expect during your consultation. Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Risks and considerations

All medical and cosmetic procedures carry potential risks. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your suitability for treatment, explain the potential benefits and risks, and answer any questions to support informed consent.

Potential considerations may include:

  • Temporary redness, swelling or skin sensitivity

  • Peeling or flaking as the skin heals

  • Temporary changes in skin pigmentation

  • The possibility that additional or alternative treatment may be recommended

  • Variation in individual healing and treatment response

Aftercare

Following your laser treatment, you will receive personalised aftercare instructions to support healing and recovery. These may include guidance on cleansing, moisturising, sun protection and temporarily avoiding activities or products that may irritate the treated skin.

Protecting your skin from sun exposure and following your practitioner's advice is an important part of the healing process. If you experience unexpected or concerning symptoms after treatment, you should contact your practitioner promptly.
